Mill Linings
Losugen, through our own experienced in house team, design and manufacture Tornado Lining systems for SAG Primary and Secondary and regrind Ball mills, Rod Mills, Scrubber Mills and Lime Mills.
Mill Lining Design
Losugen has its own in house design team using 3D and mill simulation software to confirm the types of designs required in specific applications.
Without software an approximate determination of the ratio between lifter spacing and lifter height may be obtained from the following formula commonly known as the AtoB Ratio.
(1 – P/100) A=B
Where P= RPM, in percent of critical speed
A= lifter bar spacing (edge to edge)
B= Lifter height
Tornado Mill Components
Trunnion Liners
Many Trunnions are generally rubber lined by hand using sheet rubber and adhesives.
This tends to wear prematurely creating a constant cycle of repair and maintenance.
Losugen's Aggression Trunnion lining systems are designed as a bolt in system for ease of rotation and replacement.
Fixing is achieved by either drilling or bolting through the Trunnion or by using our state of the art stud welding machines. The latter is normally done when the Trunnion is incorporated with a bearing housing.
Aggression liners are fully moulded and incorporate our innovative 20 mm Peek-A-Boo early warning wear indicator.
