Get Ultimate Protection at Losugen

Losugen ceramic wear liners are made from a combination of steel backed rubber or polyurethane panels with specially designed Alumina ceramic tiles floating in a bed of rubber.  These wear protection systems include D-MAC® RC, PC, CC and LC as well as Flex and Skirt Liners.

Alumina ceramics are one of the hardest materials, after diamonds, and are ideal to protect components from rigorous wear. Ceramic wear liners can be used as tiles, in various thickness and grades, or in a series of shapes contained within a rubber matrix.

Alumina ceramics used in ceramic wear liners and protection systems offer characteristics such as:

  • Good strength and stiffness
  • Good hardness and resistance
  • Good corrosion resistance
  • Good thermal stability
  • Excellent dielectric properties

Our D-MAC® Range

Losugen D-MAC® Ceramics ceramic wear liners vary from traditional wear protections systems in that they are fixed by a bolt-on system making them easy to replace and ensuring panels won’t fall out. There’s no need to remove chutes and send them off-site for repair as all repair work can be carried out while the chute is still in place.

D-MAC® products can be custom made to any shape or size.

 The benefits of using D-MAC®

  • The ceramic gives ultimate wear protection.
  • Rubber absorbs impact – help tiles not to crack.
  • The ceramic tiles can be interlocking cubes or standard rectangular 150x100mm tiles of varying thickness.
  • The shape of our standard tile gives maximum tile coverage.
  • Can be stud welded or counter bored for fixing.
  • All D-MAC® products can be custom made to any shape or size, standard thickness range from 25mm to 63mm for D-MAC® liners and the thicknesses range from 8mm to 50mm for D-MAC® Flex liners, but any thickness can be supplied.

D-MAC®: RC ceramics

D-MAC® RC is the ultimate in wear protection. It’s a combination of steel backed rubber panels with specially designed Alumina ceramic tiles floating in a bed of rubber.

The best thing about D-MAC® wear systems are that compared to traditional bonding of ceramic tiles to chutes launders, etc, our system is; bolt on, easy to replace, won’t fall out, no need to remove chutes to send off site for repairs, all work can be done while the chute is in place.

D-MAC®: PC ceramics

D-MAC® PC is the ultimate in wear protection especially in coal. It’s a combination of steel backed polyurethane panels with specially designed Alumina ceramic tiles floating in a bed of polyurethane.

D-MAC®: CC

D-MAC® CC is the ultimate in wear protection when larger material is being processed. D-MAC® CC is a combination of steel backed rubber panels with Alumina ceramic cylinders floating in a bed of rubber.

D-MAC®: Skirt Liner

D-MAC® Skirt Liners are easy to fit to existing conveyors and will reduce material spillage giving longer belt and component life. Skirt Liners can be designed and manufactured to suit many applications.

D-MAC®: Flex

The D-MAC® range also includes highly flexible ceramic wear liners which can be folded or bent to fit curved surfaces, with a square or rectangular shaped tile. It is backed by a protection sheet and fixed via adhesive or a vulcanisation process. Standard flexible ceramic wear liners are sized 500mmx500mm and 10mm, 14mm and 20mm in thickness, but any thickness can be supplied.
